Coming to Thailand as part of a long holiday? Having a long weekend off from work in the city? Whatever the reason, we would like to offer you something different as part of your visit to northern Thailand. We are a true homestay where you would be living in the family house and treated as a guest or friend. You are free to do as little, or as much as you please, with information and education on all things related to Thai country life. We will encourage you to eat healthy, exercise moderately and relax in comfort with people who believe that life should be lived at a leisurely pace.

      Ours is just an ordinary house so we can accept a maximum of 4 persons and even then they need to be friends. We love children of any age and welcome families but are quite happy if you come alone. Our suggestion is to stay for 3 nights and days. We would prefer not to offer the usual Chiang Mai tours of elephant rides, trekking or city tours but would rather visit a couple of local temples, spend time out walking with a pair of binoculars, cycle to some other nearby villages or spend half a day cooking Thai food. You would mainly eat with us in the home but lunches could be taken at local nearby noodle houses. The only night life available is a cold beer on the terrace listening to the frogs and owls or reading books from the library. Before you arrive you can contact us via e-mail and tell us your interests and desires, your favorite breakfast cereal or which food you are allergic to and we will do our best to please. If you want bicycles we can hire them from town and have them waiting on your arrival. Car or motorbike hire can be arranged if preferred.

      Our price includes someone to accompany you on excursions and activities, use of a computer for e-mail, all meals with tea, coffee or water and a half day cooking course and a twin-bed room. We charge 1,800 baht per day for adults, 1000 baht for children under 12, free for children under 4. Car, motorbike or bicycle hire is extra and requires booking ahead of arrival.
